Valldemossa has a rich history it is best known as the place where the composer Frederic Chopin and his lover, spent a winter staying in a rented room in the monastery. It is also the birth place of the islands only saint, Santa Catalina Thomas. The picturesque town provides breathtaking views & the narrow cobbled streets are lined with boutiques, cafes and restaurants and is a magnet for tourists day and night.
A twenty minute walk from town is Valldemossa's own small sandy beach with crystal clear water. There are also several beach bars and restaurants offering excellent seafood & traditional dishes.

Valldemossa is a truly stunning and chic destination for a family holiday or romantic escape. A wonderful town full of history and the most stunning views. nThere is something for everyone with interesting places to visit and many cycling/hiking paths to explore. With excellent resturants that would rival the most cosmopolitan cities, its difficult not to have a great time in Valldemossa.
