Originally a fishing village, Puerto Pollensa is a charming family friendly resort and marina on the northern coast of Mallorca next to the Serra de Tramuntana mountains and just 16kms from Cap de Formentor. With the Tramuntana mountains in the background, the horseshoe bay is home to the Albercutx and Pollensa beaches which are tailor-made for watersports enthusiasts. Pollensa has a reputation as being one of the best places in Mallorca for windsurfing and kitesurfing and further along the coast, the coves along the Fermentor are excellent snorkelling spots.

On the warm summer evenings, the old ritual of a stroll or paseo along the promenade stretching from the marina and the Old Pine Walk is not to be missed - perhaps stopping at a cafe or one of the many restaurants. For late evening entertainment, there are several music bars and clubs which mainly operate between April and October.
