Porto Cristo is a lovely family friendly resort on the east coast of Mallorca sitting at the end of a tiny inlet with its crystal clear tuorquoise sea. Porto Cristo is a tourist magnet for day-trippers who come in droves to visit the nearby Cuevas del Drach (Dragon Caves). The caves are home to Lake Martel - one of the largest underground lakes in the world - and where there are daily classical music performances.

However, don't expect a wild party scene - Porto Cristo is refined with the evenings being fairly relaxed - a stroll along the promenade or wandering around the small marina. For more lively entertainment, Porto Cristo is only a 20 minute drive from Manacor - Mallorca's second city, where there is a wider choice of bars, restaurants and late evening venues.
