Andratx holidays - a municipality located in the south west of Mallorca in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, only 24 kms from the capital of Palma. A few miles to the south is Port Andratx which is an exclusive resort. Like many towns in Mallorca Andratx is located several kms inland from the Port and is a rural fairly untouched town with limited property rental options. Port Andratx however is ideal for holidays being right on the coast with a lovely harbour and beaches and is surrounded by swish villas with their own pools overlooking this stunning bay dotted with incredible yachts and boats.

The Port of Andratx developed as a tourist desitination back in the 1960s and quickly became popular with the rich and famous. There is a very cool yachting scene here and the marina is full of class and sophitication, the restaurants, bars and cafes are lovely to stop and take in the surroundings and the sea view while trying the local specialities.

Nightlife in Port Andratx

Port Andratx falls into the luxury marina category and so has lovely al fresco dining restaurants and late night bars with the odd nightclub to keep those that wish to party late into the night and following morning happy. Although, not a big town there is plenty to keep most happy in terms of entertainment during the day and when it gets dark.

Andratx beaches

There are several beaches in the vicinity of Port Andratx however being dominated by a marina they are a little up and down the coast including Cala Marmassen and Cala Blanca both circa 2 kms from Port d'Andratx. There are many more a bit further away such as Cala en Cranc and Cala Llamp.
