Cala Millor ("better bay") is a charming family friendly modern resort on the rugged north east coast of Mallorca just 9kms north of Porto Cristo - home to the spectacular Cuevas del Drac (Dragon Caves) and Lake Martel - one of the largest underground lakes in the world. Cala Millor is a fairly lively resort attracting people of all ages who come to experience a more authentic holiday away from the mass tourist resorts near Palma. Not to be missed is a trip to nearby Son Servera where you can wander around the markets held every Friday and Saturday.
Of the 4 resorts that share this stretch of coast, Cala Millor is by far the livliest. There are many bars, tapas and restaurants in the resort plus a few discos for late night entertainment. For more choice, Manacor, Mallorca's second city is a 20 minute drive.
