Zell am See self catering holidays - a medieval town on the shores of lake Zell and linked to Kaprun a few kms away by free shuttle bus, Zell is a very popular all year round resort and the infrastructure is first class. Kaprun is a little smaller but still has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to sample after a hard day on the mountains.

Zell am See - Kaprun is set in a beautiful national park- the Hohe Tauern National Park with 266 mountain peaks over 3000m and 130km2 of glaciers, 550 lakes and 279 rivers so no matter what time of year you visit, there are certain plenty of natural wonders to explore! The ski area is shared with Kaprun and is spread over the Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe mountains and the high altitude Kitzsteinhorn glacier where you can also ski in the summer.
