Zadar holidays, Dalmatia Holiday rentals - villas & holiday homes to rent in Zadar
Zadar in northern Dalmatia is an incredible medieval city rich in history and natural beauty. Quieter than the increasingly crowded mainstream Croatian resorts, Zadar retains an authentic feel and is still easy to amble along the quiet marble lined streets and get a real sense of Croatia. The Dalmatian coast is the main attraction of this port town but the countryside is equally beautiful. Zadar is close to 3 national parks; Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes and Krka where you can enjoy hiking, rock-climbing and even swimming in waterfalls for a not-to-be-forgotten experience.
Be sure to take the ferry to Saharun. The white sandy beach and shallow azure water compare favourably to the Caribbean and being less well-known than other Croatian resorts, there's still plenty of space to enjoy it.

Our view on Zadar villa holidays
Zadar retains it's authentic Croatian feel and is an amazing place to visit with great food, great wine and ancient traditional market. The gorgeous, peaceful coastline and countryside with 3 national parks are incredible and so are the people. Zadar is home to countless music festivals and a few typically crazy Croatian experiences too - we love the giant sea harmonica and solar-powered public dance floor! Staying in a Zadar holiday rental is the best way to experience the city and local beaches and are ideal for for families, friends and groups. They provide the space, freedom and flexibility to do what you want, when you want - home from home.
