By plane

If you are flying, there are several airports to choose from although the most convenient is Salzburg with transfers taking just under an hour.

By car

If you are driving from Salzburg, you need to pick up the A8 heading towards Rosenheim and then the A94 and follow the signs for Kufstein. Exit at Oberaudorf and follow the B172 that takes you through Kössen before reaching Walchsee.

By train

The closest train station is 18km away at Kuftsein. From the station, you can either get a taxi or take a bus to Walchsee.
