Toulouse is the 4th largest city and the capital of the department of the Haute-Garonne in the Occitanie region of South West France. Nestled in a bend between the Garonne river and the famous Canal du midi Toulouse is a big place with lots to offer. Renowned for its space centre - La Cité de l'Espace and its aeronautic engineering, Toulouse is also a vibrant, colourful city with a rich history and diverse culture. The old town - Vieux Quartier is well worth a visit.

The city sprawls and so there are many areas of interest and you are never far from water with two main waterways going through and around Toulouse with the Garonne river and the Canal du Midi. This provides beautiful backdrops & views when stopping for a coffee, lunch or a glass of wine while exploring this wonderful city. Circa 2 000 years old, Toulouse known as the Ville Rose has so much history which can be discovered by visiting its numerous monuments, museums and places of interest. Add to that an incredible gastromic scene and cool bars and cafés this is a really cool city.
