Tignale sits on a plateau some 500m above Lake Garda on the Riviera dei Limoni giving magnificent views of Monte Baldo on the east coast. The resort is actually a collection of six tiny villages in the heart of the "Parco alto Garda Bresciano" including the historical village of Piovere with it's Venetian styled houses and porticoes.
Down at the beach, Tignale is one of the top areas on Lake Garda for watersports especially if you like sailing, windsurfing and even surfing as it is one of the windiest spots on the lake.

Amongst the six villages, there is a good selection of self catering holiday rentals which are excellent value when compared to some of the mainstream lakeside resorts. In each of the villages, there are a few shops, several bars and restaurants. For more choice, you can head down to the beach area of "Pra de la Fam" and catch a ferry to the very lively town of Malcesine across the lake.
