Telde self catering holidays - located in the eastern part of the island of Gran Canaria, 16 km from the capital city of Las Palmas and 4 km from the nearest coast. Telde is a municipality and the oldest and first capital of the island, built around its historical church, San Juan Bautista de Telde. Telde has over 100 archaeological sites which increase each year. The town itself is picturesque with many fine examples of ancient architecture.
Telde has many wonderful, interesting places to explore due to its diverse landscapes, it also reaches the sea with spectacular cliffs and ground lava beaches over its 10 km of coastline and is one of many villages offering fine examples of its fishing history and traditions.

Our view on Telde holidays
We think Telde is a fabulous destination for a self catering holiday with its all year round perfect climate. There is a vast array of things to see and do for all ages, as well as being the perfect place to relax surrounded by pristine nature. There is a good selection of resturants for dining out where you can try a large variety of traditional dishes, tapas and delicious pastries and confectionery made in the surrounding villages.
