Siena villas, Tuscany Holiday rentals - villas & holiday homes to rent in Siena
Siena is the hill-top capital city of the province of Siena in Tuscany and is one of Italy's major tourist attractions. The historic centre was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site owing to its rich culture, history and outstanding natural beauty.
One of the must see events if you are visiting during the summer is the medieval horse race around the Piazza del Campo known as the Palio - as featured in the opening scenes of the James Bond film - Quantum of Solace. It is held on 2nd July and 16th August each year.
The beauty of Siena and all over the Tuscan countryside is that there are so many places to visit and explore and in the knowledge that wherever you go, the local cuisine will be something you will remember forever.
