Saint Germain-sur-Ay orginally an old fishing village it was also known for its salt production. Its many long sandy beaches offer many watersports like kite & wind surfing. Today it is marked for its architectural heritage which survived the Second World War like Pirou Castle and the stunning historical Abbaye de Lessay church located not far away.
