Self catering holidays in Mogan - a picturesque resort located in the southwestern part of the island of Gran Canaria, 93 km from the capital but not far from the popular resort of Maspalomas. Known as the venice of Gran Canaria, due to the canals which run from the marina and through the centre of the town. With its pretty white wash houses, Mogan is considered the most beautiful town on the island. Its beach is sandy with blue shallow water perfect for families and offers a wide range of watersports plus there are many cafes, bars and restaurants to chose from. Due to the island's excellent climatic conditions, the beaches are used all year round.
Mogan is a great place for shopping especially the Mercadillo de Morgan which is popular for its flea & street market. Moragn is also a marina of choice for private yachts, as it is a major stop-off point for ocean yachts travelling from the Atlantic to the Caribbean.

Our view on Mogan self catering holidays
We think Mogan is a fabulous destination for a self catering holiday. The resort is simply stunning with its marina and canals flowing through town. There is a vast array of different things to see and do from watersports to historic sites, not to mention relaxing on the beautiful sandy beach.
