Locquirec is a small traditional village and seaside resort situated on a peninsula on the coast of Finistere (northern Brittany) to the east of Roscoff and Morlaix in Lannion Bay. It is a village based around its harbour, with typical whitewashed and granite Breton houses, and a village church.
There is a great deal of lovely coastal scenery nearby, offering breathtaking panorama views over the western part of the pink granite coast. You are also between the attractive towns of Lannion and Morlaix, which have interesting historical town centres and are lovey places to explore.The town was made famous when its location was used in the film Holiday Hotel by Michael Lang, which took place partly in the Grand Hotel des Bains in 1978.
