Lezignan Corbières is a beautiful old village at the crossroads of Corbières and Minervois in the Languedoc-Roussillon, Occitanie. This is an authentic southern village between Carcassonne and Narbonne Plage on the coast and the atmosphere is clearly southern french with a touch of hispanic. The weekly markets reflect this ambiance, every Wednesday the village is covered with market stalls showing off stunning local produce.

If you like historical sites, wine and beautiful surroundings then this is the perfect location for you. Also, as the village is relatively unknown, it is not overrun with tourists and is small enough to not seem overwhelming. The historical centre of the town is ideal for a nice peaceful stroll taking in the market on a wednesday and stopping at a pretty café for a drink. There are some decent restaurants as well allowing you to discover the regional specialities and enjoy a glass of the local wine surrounded by glorious scenery.
