This part of the south coast of France is quite spectacular with pine forest going all the way to glorious white sandy beaches. Coupled with excellent restaurants, bars and every watersport imaganeable it is a magnet for holidaymakers in the summer months. Getting away from the coast, just inland the forested hills of the Maures provide the perfect escape for some gentle hikes or mountain biking.
Le Muy itself is a tranquil, pretty village set back about 18km from the beaches with plenty of cafes, fantastic restaurants and bars plus some nice little shops. There are also various bi-weekly markets selling local produce.
