The coastal resort of Kremasti is located on the west coast, 12 km from Rhodes town. Kremasti is open all year round and is one of the largest resorts on the island. Home to one of the largest churches on the island, Panagia Katholiki Church, a beautiful building and well worth a visit. The main beach stretches for 10 km and is mainly small pebbles and shingle, the water is crystal clear and deep. There are good amenities with many sunbeds and parasols as well as a few beach restaurants and cafes. Kremasti is also a great place for windsurfing and kitesurfing with hire equipment available at the beach.
Kremasti is a wonderful resort with plenty to explore from historical ruins to the vibrant nightlife with superb restaurants, fun beach bars, tradition tavernas, shops and markets. Suitable for families and couples alike, there is something for everyone with a huge range of activities on offer.
