Koh Samui self catering holidays A spectacular tropical island off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus
Koh Samui sits in The Golf of Thailand off the east coast of Thailand and has been attracting tourists for generations. A fantastic destination for anytime of year but especially during the winter months.
Whilst a vibrant and tropical island, Koh Samui retains its rich Thai culture and history as can be seen in beautiful and serene Buddhist temples, like the famous Wat Plai Laem. The many beach resort streets are lined with boutiques, bars and restaurants and is a magnet for tourists day and night.
The evenings are very lively especially around the beach front. There is always a live music show, fire dancers and entertainment streaming from the beach or from one of the many beach bars open until the early hours.
