How to get to Deauville-Trouville
By Plane
If you are flying, Deauville has its own airport with several daily international flights from around Europe. From the UK, Ryanair has direct flights from Stansted. Cityjet also operates 2 weekly flights from London City airport.
From the airport, the best option is to hire a car as you will need the flexibility and convenience it provides when touring the surrounding villages, vineyards and beaches of Normandy. Alternatively, there are taxis from the airport with transfer times of around 15 minutes to cover the 8kms.

By Train
The closest train station to Deauville is Gare de Trouville-Deauville. There are frequent trains from Paris Gare Saint Lazare with journey times of approximately 2 hours. If you are travelling on Eurostar, you need to change at Paris Gare Nord.
By Ferry
There are two main gateway ports to Deauville. The closest port is Le Havre with journey times on the high speed ferries of just 3 hours 45 minutes. Driving from Le Havre takes around 30 minutes to cover the 41kms to Deauville.
The other route is from Portsmouth to Caen which takes 5 hours 45 minutes. From Caen, the distance to Deauville is 60kms and takes around 45 minutes.
