Cat Island holiday rentals Luxury villas & holiday homes to rent on Cat Island
Like many islands in the Bahamas, Cat Island is simply stunning with its reef protected emerald waters and pink silky sand beaches. It sits 130 miles southeast of Nassau and Paradise Island near the Tropic of Cancer and measures just 48 miles long and 4 miles at its widest. Given its location, it's less crowded than the northern islands and people who come to Cat Island for their vacations appreciate the tranquility and solitude.
Every inch of the island is breathtaking and exploring its pristine inner natural beauty with rolling hills and nature trails is not to be missed. Whilst there is the option of doing absolutely nothing apart from chilling out and relaxing, perhaps under a thatched-roof tiki beach bar, Cat Island also has an active side. There is plenty going on both on and off the beaches from the plethora of water sports to sophisticated fine dining and lively evening entertainment at one of the resort hotels.
