In the centre of the town is Soardo-Bembo Castle which dates back to the 16th century.
Given its envious location, Bale also has easy access to the lovely beaches of the Adriatic coast and wonderful activities for the whole family. Throughout the summer, there are many live music concerts, the main one The Last Minute Jazz Festival which takes place over four days in August.
