There are many exciting day trips and places to explore around Alghero's magical coastline. The most famous deep within the tall limestone cliffs is a 4 metre long stalactite cave with a salt water lake, Grotta di Nettuno. Located on Capo Caccia, a stunning long cape, with drops of over 200 metres! It is easily reached by sea or by road from Alghero town.
