Alassio is a charming coastal town located on the western coast of Liguria, northern Italy, approximately 80km from the French boarder. The resort has been attracting tourists for generations and is a fantastic destination to visit anytime of year but especially during the summer months.
Known for its natural and scenic views, Alassio has a lovely sandy beach, blue sea with many beach bars and restaurants. It has a small pier to walk along where you get a panoramic view of the town. The resort centre is pedestrianised and one of the towns main attractions is 'il muretto di Alassioa' which is a colourful tiled wall with over 500 signatures of celebrities. The old town is charming with its narrow cobble streets, there are many interesting shops to visit, cafes & bars.

Alassio is a truly stunning and chic destination for a family holiday or romantic escape. With a charming old town and stunning coastline of white sandy beaches running into the turquoise Mediterranean. There is something for everyone with interesting places to visit and fabulous shopping in the numerous shops and boutiques. With excellent restaurants and night life that would rival the most cosmopolitan cities, it's difficult not to have a great time in Alassio.
