By plane
Lake Lugano is easily accessible from a number of international airports in both Italy and Switzerland. At the airport, there are various options from getting a train, hiring a car or using one of the airport transfer shuttles.
By car
Driving is also straight forward if you are coming from Milan and the journey time of around one hour will take you past the south-west corner of Lake Como.
By train
Lugano has a main line train station that connects easily with all the major cities throughout Europe.
